Welcome to Rotary District 9460, based in the south west corner of Australia, including Perth in the state of Western Australia. We would like your feedback to ensure that what you want is on the site. Please feel free to contact our web committee Chairman on 0419929537 with your comments. The redevelopment of this site is a two stage project, this being the first. Currently Clubs can add their own news or events to this site, while stage two will allow Clubs to build their own sites under the District's with all information being shared via database between the District and Club sites. Full training will be included to all Clubs to ensure that they are able to utilise the site to its full potential. For the current site, we can send you a manual on how to add your Club's events and news items quickly and easily.You will notice that as you browse the site in its current form, there are areas still being worked on, but they will be working soon. The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. |
